Big Furniture Is Ugly

Note to self.  Big furniture is ugly.  What was I thinking?  Ok, so it was 7 years ago, and my style has changed. So with a new hole in the drywall, yes my fault.  Who knew, I couldn't hold a 150lb corner armoire going downstairs, the transformation of the loft can begin!  Keep the bookcase?  Paint the interior?  Glaze the exterior?  Keep the beige sofa that is super uncomfortable, or wait for a Craigslist find and replace it?  Maybe Dan will forget how much of a pain it is to move things up and down the stairs in a week or so.  Dresser transformation to hold the tv is underway in the garage.  It is currently primed.  Today, it will be painted a beautiful bluey turquoise and then distressed, glazed and placed upstairs.  More to come...

Sunday.  I love Sundays. Today I have been inspired by the sunshine. It is helping me to move some furniture out of my house that I am tired of, to make room for new.  If you know anyone in the Rockford, IL area looking for a great leather couch or corner armoire, let me know.  I am hoping they move fast!  I will be looking for a long dresser or buffet to paint to hold our tv and all the other lovely stuff such as dvr, cd player etc...  So, that is the order of business.  Off to check Craigslist to see if anyone has posted anything of interest.  Have a great Sunday!
